Why is this important?
Leadership is a process of influence leading to the achievement of the desired purpose of improving the lives of all children
These bespoke sessions will provide support and challenge for school leaders with a focus on the school’s own self-evaluation. The individual focus for each visit will be negotiated.
These sessions may include support in writing school development plans; the development of strategic planning documents; school self-evaluation; data analysis; monitoring and evaluation of quality teaching and the use of learning walks; the leadership of teaching and learning; governance and bespoke CPD.
How will it impact?
These visits will provide opportunity to:
- strengthen your evidence base and identify priorities for developing the quality of provision including learning and teaching;
- build on your capacity for self-evaluation through modelling and coaching in skills, including undertaking learning walks, lesson observation, developmental feedback, pupil voice and work scrutiny;
- receive support to write your strategic plan and operational plan (school improvement plan and self-evaluation summary);
- develop a framework for improving teaching to raise standards and remove barriers to learning through the principles of Learning without Limits.

Learning Exchange member fee: £375 per half day visit/£600 per full day visit
Non-member fee: £500 per half day visit/£750 per full day visit
