|Course Title||Outstanding Teacher Programme (OTP)|
|Course Tutor||Accredited OTP facilitators from Gordano School and North Somerset Primary Schools who have considerable experience of successful teaching and development roles within their schools and the wider teaching community.|
|Duration||10 weeks including 6 x half day sessions, 2 x full day sessions and 2 x in-school practice sessions.|
|Target Audience||This programme is for teachers who are, or have the potential to be, outstanding. To develop their practice and help them carry out a whole school responsibility for teaching and learning.|
We recommend that schools send three members of staff to attend the programme. They would then co-plan, deliver and feedback on a number of activities and lesson(s) observations.
It is expected that the senior leadership team will nominate staff who they feel would benefit from this type of professional development.
