Course DescriptionThis one day seminar will enable you to engage with Dame Alison Peacock, Headteacher at The Wroxham School, member of the DfE Expert Panel for Assessment, NAHT Commissioner for Primary Assessment and co-author of ‘Creating Learning Without Limits’ (2002). The Wroxham School has been judged by Ofsted to be outstanding in 2006, 2009 and 2013.
At The Wroxham School, Alison has explored an alternative improvement agenda where no-one is labelled by so-called ‘ability’ and where teachers do not behave as if children’s potential is predictable far in advance, or that the power of educators can only have a limited impact on the lives of children. At The Wroxham School, children learn without both limits and levels.
